Continuing our study of the scaling properties and renormalization group flows of Toda field theories in the presence of a background charge we consider the case of nonsimply laced algebras. We introduce (para)fermions associated with the exponentials containing short roots. Working in the Kosterlitz-Thouless region we find, as we did in the SU(N) case, RG trajectories connecting UV and IR fixed points where the central charge matches the values of the central charge of minimal models associated with the corresponding algebras. We present in detail the C3, B3, and G2 cases, as well as the simply laced case D4 to which the latter two are related by diagram folding. © 1991.
