摘要
Mossbauer studies have been performed between 77K and 300K on powders of the quasi-two dimensional oxide Fe-57-doped gamma-Mo4O11. The spectra show four quadrupolar doublets. The observed anomaly of the center shift in the vicinity of the Peierls-charge density wave transition at 100K is ascribed to a decrease of the Debye-Waller factor of two molybdenum sites only. The associated hysteresis phenomena are discussed in terms of interactions between slowly diffusing Fe-57 impurities and the charge density wave.
