HEAT PIPE APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES

In this paper some typical examples of heat pipe applications are presented. Nowadays, heat pipes have extensive applications such as: in waste energy recovery systems, solar collectors, utilization of geothermal energy, heat exchanger, electric/electronic equipment and devices, industrial machines and equipment, engines and vehicles, aviation and spacecraft engineering, civil engineering, medical treatment and others. Original combined cycle in rotating turbomachinery, including rotating heat pipe application, is proposed.
