摘要
We present here an EXAFS study of the interaction of rhodium supported on palygorskite. The precursors and catalysts have been studied together with analogously prepared silica supported catalysts. This study suggest the formation of a covalent bond between rhodium atoms and the clay from the initial ionic interaction between the cationic rhodium complex and the structure of the clay.
