摘要：

In order to comply with the R.A.S.M.P. recommendations for existing orthovoltage machines a simple dose-rate monitor using a readily available, low cost photodiode has been constructed and tested on two Siemens Stabilipan I Units. The device will be useful to both radiographers, engineers, technicians and physicists and can be assembled and fitted with a minimum of technical expertise.
