摘要
A detailed description is given of the fruit of the small kakitree (Diospyros kaki L., Ebenaceae family). Its habit is in China and Japan. It is also cultivated in the U.S.A. (California, Georgia), South America, South Russian and Israel. The seedfree sharon fruit is eaten as fresh fruit, work up into fruit salad, jam, jelly, wine, liquer, and to cover of cake. The characteristics sign of the sharon fruit are the longish, club-shaped, rarely oval gigant cells, 750-1200 mu m in the long and to 500 mu m in the wide.
