ELASTIC-CONSTANTS OF SEMICONDUCTING TELLURITE GLASSES

摘要
The velocity of longitudinal and transverse ultrasonic waves in four different compositions of (MoO3)x (TeO2)1-x glass system (x=0.2, 0.3, 0.45, 0.5) have been measured at room temperature using the pulse echo technique. The velocity data have been used to determine the elastic moduli, Debye temperature and Poisson's ratio for each composition. The results indicate that the elastic moduli depend upon the composition of the prepared glass.
