摘要
For the time-of-flight mass analysis of energetic ions it is advantageous to determine additionally positions of individual ions. A corresponding UHV-capable position sensitive timing detector has been developed with a +/- 1 mm position accuracy and readout times of less-than-or-equal-to 5 ns.
