摘要
Scientific journals are important channels for the socialization of knowledge and dissemination for the scientific production. The analysis of the periodicals tied to the Tourism Graduate Programs [Stricto Sensu] in Brazil allowed examining the text about Environmental Education (EE). Eight journals were analyzed and four presented articles that deal with EE. From the total of 1,652 papers published from 1990 to 2014, four articles [0.24%] are published in four journals [RBTur, Revista Hospitalidade, Revista Turismo e Sociedade and Revista Turismo Visa e Agao]. Seven authors, from three different educational institutions were identified as contributors of this knowledge socialization. It was verified a lack of studies in Environmental Education and it suggested the continuity of the analysis on how the Tourism Graduate Programs [Stricto Sensu] internalize the theme in its lines of research, projects and courses.
