摘要
Various states of copper in the samples of CuO/SiO2 treated under reducing conditions are studied by IR spectroscopy using adsorption of CO as a molecular probe. Cu2+, Cu+, and Cu0 species are revealed, their distribution being dependent on the reduction degree of the system. The problem of identification of diverse Cu0 and Cu2+ entities on the surface of oxide supports is discussed.
