Based on the Cognitive Linguistic point of view (LANGACKER, 1991, FILLMORE, 1982 and GOLDBERG, 1995), this article is about grammatical teaching, specifically the pedagogical praxis in native's language. Furthermore, it's analyses the pedagogical treatment of conditional constructions in teaching manual, presenting a proposal based on the idea that different perspectives on the achievement or not the events are translated by different pairings "form and meaning" in "if p, q".
