Experimental structure determination of oligosaccharides

There is evidence of significant internal motion in oligosaccharides yet the past year has shown a continuing focus on the representation of oligosaccharides by single three-dimensional structures. Methods are needed to generate a more realistic representation, i.e. an ensemble of structures consistent with the experimental data. New approaches hold out hope for the eventual development of such methods.
