PROPAGATION AND INSTABILITY OF BEAM WAVES IN RANDOM INHOMOGENEOUS DIELECTRICS AND PLASMA

摘要：
It is shown that peculiar instabilities arise when beams of charged Particles pass through the statistically inhomogeneous medium. Physical mechanisms of these instabilites are studied and increments of their increase are presented. The nonlinear mechanism responsible for stabilization of these instabilities and inducing appearance of shock waves is studied.
