摘要
We have measured analyzing powers for the reaction pp --> d-pi+ at beam energies 3 and 7 MeV above pion-production threshold. With the use of Watson's theorem to fix phases and effective range estimates of pion d-wave strength, we have been able to determine the NN --> d-pi s-wave amplitude and the major p-wave amplitude at these energies. The results are compared to the Faddeev model predictions of Blankleider.
