摘要
The properties of propylene carbonate (PC) were studied in respect of intermolecular interactions and ion-solvent interactions. The study was accomplished by using IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. On the basis of the temperature variation of the H-1 NMR spectra it was found that PC did not undergo self-association. The IR spectral study showed also that PC did not interact with ClO4-, Br-, GAMMA and BPh4- anions, and interacted to a measurable extent with the Li+, Mg2+ and Na+ cations. The mothod of differential IR spectra turned out to be particularly useful for studing these interactions. The results were suported by the previously reported conductometric measurements.
