Estimation of particle size distribution in multiple small-angle scattering

摘要
The possibility of employing the maximum-entropy method to extract the particle size distribution from a multiple-small-angle-scattering profile is examined. The sensitivity of the method to the choice of different prior distribution conditions is investigated. The various maximum-entropy-estimated results are compared with three model distributions, namely the log-normal, Weibull and Gaussian distributions for particle size.
