VARIATION OF T(C) AND NORMAL-STATE RESISTIVITY IN DY1-XPRXBA2CU3O7 UNDER PRESSURES UP TO 20 KBAR

摘要
The pressure effect on the superconducting transition temperature T(c) and resistivity rho have been measured in Dy1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7-delta for x ranging from 0.0 to 0.4. The simultaneous change of sign in d In rho/dP and d In T(c)/dP at x = 0.3 indicates that there is a strong correlation between T(c)-suppression and the change in normal-state resistivity. For x less-than-or-equal-to 0.3, the pressure-induced change in drho/dT does not vary much with x, but the change in residual resistivity rho0 is closely related to x. While for the sample with x = 0.4, an upturn of rho at T < 100 K has been observed for P > 4 kbar and can be fitted into a logarithmic T-dependence. The implication of an x-correlated change in T(c) and rho under pressure will be discussed.
