摘要：
The author investigated the effect of environmental pollution with heavy metals on the activity of auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins, and also on the sugar content in buds of European privet and lilac in the initial period of transition to generative morphogenesis. It is suggested that the lower activity of cytokinins and gibberellins in conditions of pollution and smaller content of sucrose and glucose in bud meristems may be the reason for suppression of the transition to morphogenesis.
