摘要
Autogenous diffusion bonding, by which the bonding interface cleans itself during bonding, was evaluated in tension, fatigue, and light microscopy. Depending on the temperature, time, and pressure, interfacial defects can be reduced to the point where the bond region is superior to the bulk material (AISI 1020 steel) in both tension and fatigue resistance.
