摘要
The creation of a numerical model capable of simulating the operating conditions of chemical heat pumps used in various industrial applications and fixing their power and energy requirements is a prerequisite to facilitate the widespread usage of this technology. Such a model is described herewith to simulate the kinetic and heat transfer for the calcium chloride-methylamine couple used in a chemical heat pump. The model parameters are fixed from experimental results obtained in specific laboratory experiments. This approach allows the determination of a kinetic and thermal modelwhich can be adapted for gas-solid couples of the same type operating in various conditions, and leads to a way of rapidly evaluating the operating parameters for any suitable reacting couple. The validity of this method is demonstrated by the excellent correlation between experimental and simulated results. © 1990.
