BINUCLEAR DIOXOMOLYBDENUM(VI) COMPLEXES CONTAINING BRIDGING DIOXIME SCHIFF-BASE LIGANDS

摘要
MoO2(acac)2 reacts in EtOH with polydentate dioxime-based Schiff base ligands obtained by the condensation of biacetylmonoxime with ethylenediamine (H2DMED), propylenediamine (H2DMPD), diethylenetriamine (H2DMDT) and triethylenetetramine (H2DMTT) to form binuclear, ligand-bridged, six-coordinated cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes-[(acac)MoO2(L)O2Mo(acac)]. All the ligands essentially act as bridging tetradentate ligands. The complexes are characterized by analytical, conductivity, IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectral measurements. © 1990.
