CONCENTRATION-DEPENDENCE OF ABSORPTION-SPECTRA OF PR3+ IN LILA1-XPRXP4O12 CRYSTALS

摘要
The effect of active center concentration on the absorption spectra of Pr3+ in stoichiometric LiLa(1-x)Pr(x)P4O12 crystals was investigated. It was found that all the bands exhibit strong concentration dependence. In particular the strongest effect was on the 3P0 band whose intensity decreased with increasing concentration. The coupling of PR3+ ions in pairs was found to be responsible for the effect.
