摘要
Aneurysms of the abdominal aorta and cerebral arteries rarely coexist. Mortality due to abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture is observed in 90% of patients. Smoking, advanced age, and hypertension are the major risk factors for abdominal aortic aneurysm. Rupture of a cerebral aneurysm may result in some undesired cerebrovascular events. Cerebral aneurysms may coexist with congenital abnormalities such as coarctation of the aorta and polycystic renal disease.
