摘要
The velocity and attenuation of shear elastic waves have been measured in the paraelectric phase of tetragonal RbD,PO,. The softening of the elastic stiffness C666 can be well described by a Curie-Weiss law. The polarization relaxation time t exhibits conventional critical behavior: [formula omitted] Both t. and Ti are very sensitive to deuteration. The values T, = 229.1 K and t. = 2.61 x 10 s K were obtained for a RbD,POj crystal that is 87 percent deuterated, whereas Tc = 147 K and t. = 0.3 x 10-[o]'s K have been reported for RblI;PO4. © 1990, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
