Concentration and Temperature Dependences of the Elastic Properties of Quenched Fe-Co and FeCo-2V Alloys

摘要
The elastic moduli and logarithmic decrement of Fe-Co alloys are measured over the entire concentration range upon quenching from 850 degrees C. The temperature dependences of these properties of some of these alloys and commercial FeCo-2V permendur are also measured. The bulk modulus and the Poisson ratio are calculated, and the plasticities of the alloys are estimated at 20 degrees C (293 K) and higher temperatures. The so-called 550 degrees C anomaly in the temperature dependences of the properties is discussed.
