摘要：
The performances of Gallager codes, and hybrid systems based on these codes, are evaluated on real channels using the Monte Carlo simulation method. New criteria are proposed for diffuse bursts as well as for hybrid systems. Test results demonstrate that these codes, if properly used, offer a significant reduction in the error rate.
