摘要
The thermodynamic functions, compressibility, entropy and free energy of desorption have been derived from a set of pi-A isotherms of human immunoglobulin G films at an air-water interface. Criteria for optimum filmlift conditions have been obtained from an analysis of these functions. By the application of a basic model, a picture of the desorption behaviour of segments of the antibodies has also been constructed. The results of this study have been used to estimate the theoretical sensing limit of a TIRF based immunosensor.
