摘要：
This article discusses about the genesis of the Instituto Nacional de Estudos Pedagagicos (INEP) and the time Anisio Teixeira was ahead of the Institute, from 1952 to 1964. At that time Teixeira tried to consolidate INEP as a place of official memory. He worried about the publications, the library and with the discentralization and enlargement of the services offered by INEP. This interests have to do with the strategies of articulation, irradiation and mobilization, acting to build a group memory.
