The Schleiermacher's hermeneutics and the question of individuality

This is a study on hermeneutics developed by one of the forerunners of the modern hermeneutical thought, namely Friedrich Schleiermacher. This author believed, influenced by Romanticism, in the possibility to correctly understand the idea of a text through a return to its creation moment. In other words, he cared about the understanding of the creative individuality, which represented a difficulty to avoid a misinterpretation of a text or other form of speech. It is to recognize the relevance and limits of this reflection to think about the aporias arising from the classical hermeneutics, which relate to the question about what it means to understand.
