摘要：

The interrelationship between different notions of connectedness of fuzzy sets introduced by Ming and Ming, Zheng Chong You, Saha, and Ajmal and Kohli is investigated. A new concept of connectedness, called c5-connectedness, of a fuzzy set is introduced and the validity of the standard results for this new concept of connectedness is examined.
