摘要：

The current technology of energy-management-system computer configurations is reviewed. Computer system architectures have changed significantly over the years because of changing requirements from utilities and changes in the available hardware and software technology. It is shown how configurations have evolved and how current systems there is much commonality in approach. The authors show how the current state of design suggests that improved configurations will be achieved that are greater in power but more simplistic in design and more easily maintained.
