摘要
Removal of stickies and laser-printed inks from recycled paper is facilitated by froth flotation. The efficiency of the process is shown to be function of the surface tension of the deinking liquor and the surface energy of the contaminant. The latter is found to increase upon contact with the deinking liquor on a time scale of seconds to minutes. Possible reasons for this behaviour are discussed.
