摘要：
The phenomenon of infection as the presenting feature of untreated Hodgkin's disease is rarely seen. Our case report illustrates this unusual sequence of events. Radiologic investigations in our patient not only demonstrated a paravertebral abscess as the cause of the presenting symptom of back pain, but also revealed unsuspected lymphadenopathy.
