摘要
This study shows the results of 124 students' perceptions about the use of blogging in two subjects from different university degrees. A questionnaire was created to find out whether blogs contributed to collaborative learning and were a useful resource to conduct formative assessment. It was administered at the end of the semester. Although previous knowledge and experiences with blogs were different between the two groups of students, in both cases their use was perceived as satisfactory and considered to benefit students' learning. The main reasons that justify this positive assessment are: the importance of offering previous and sufficient information about how the blog will be used in the subject; the teacher's attitude and her/his concern to broaden learning beyond the classroom; the integration of the blog in the development of the subject; and the evaluation of their learning, which must foster students' active participation.
