摘要：

Edward Alan Glasper is the professor emeritus in children's and young people's nursing at the University of Southampton. In this article he discusses a new initiative from the UK Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) to promote safer practice and reduce preventable deaths among sick children being cared for in clinical settings.
