Effect of alloying on thermal conductivity of vanadium alloys

摘要
The effect of alloying with titanium and chromium on thermal conductivity of low-activated vanadium alloys was studied at temperatures ranging from 20 to 1000 degrees C. The thermal conductivity of the alloys increases with temperature. The alloying of vanadium with titanium leads to substantial decrease in thermal conductivity which does not change with additional alloying with chromium. The optimal titanium and chromium contents providing sufficiently high thermal conductivity of the alloys was determined.
