摘要：
The differences between narrow range and wide range homologue distributions of alcohol ethoxylates were investigated. The Weibull-Nycancer-Gold and Natta-Mantica theoretical models were used as convenient tools for appropriate interpretation. It was found that the intramolecular sequestering effect is mainly responsible for widening the ethylene oxide adducts distribution. Furthermore only monovalent catalyst metal ions are subjected to the Weibull-Tornquist complexation. Polyvalent metal ions inhibit the complexation leading to the narrow range distribution of homologues. Appropriate interpretation is also supported by kinetic data.
