摘要：

The translation, in which had its primacy in the first language teaching methods, lost its classroom space from the nineteenth century onwards. however, with the possibilities that technology offers us, it is possible to work with translation activities that are motivating and stimulate activate communicative competence. In this article, we discus translation use in language teaching, technologies used for translation activities, and present some practical examples and suggestions regarding to translation activities tasks that can be used in language teaching and learning context.
