摘要：
The analysis of a plate as a three-dimensional continuum leads to the representation of the displacements and stresses in terms of functions which must satisfy characteristic differential equations. Membrane and bending cases are considered separately. The application of the representations allows the inclusion of warping for plate bending and leads to very accurate results in numerical computations.
