摘要
The electrode process in the presence of a surface active substance with accelerating-inhibiting properties is considered. The rate constant of the process kσ is expressed as a sum of the rate corresponding to the electrostatic effect kσ1 and that corresponding to the blocking effect kθ; kσ=kσ+kθ. The relations derived describe the experimental data for electroreduction of cadmium ions from a 3 M H2SO4 solution in the presence of benzenesulfonate ions. © 1979 Elsevier Sequoia S.A.
