摘要：

Pituitaries from rainbow trout and eel were cultured with or without thyroxine, and then incubated briefly with 3H-uridine. The activity of the thyrotrophs was estimated from autoradiographs. The results show that uridine is actively taken up by the thyrotroph nuclei of control cultures but that this activity is repressed by the addition of thyroxine to the culture medium. © 1969.
