摘要：

This article aims to analyze the implementation of environmental actions through there flections on the environmental crisis and the role of education in shaping ecological subjects, considering the local socio-cultural diversity. The methodology was based on semi-structured interviews, direct observation in locusand environmental actions. The results indicate that the environmental actions are fundamental to the implementation of public policies and the reduction of environmental degradation in Amazonian riparian communities, and contribute to the improvement of their existing population quality of life. Therefore, environmental education as political education should emphasize the dialogue of knowledge, and appreciation of local culture and identity, focusing on sustainable alternatives that consider the peculiarities of life of the Amazonia caboclo.
