摘要
This paper studies the reliability characteristics of a repairable system with M operating machines, S spare machines, and a removable repairman in the repair facility. The removable repairman applies the N policy: turn the repairman on when N or more failed machines present in the system, and then turn the repairman off when the system is empty. Failure times and repair times are assumed to be exponentially distributed. We perform a parametric investigation which provides numerical results to show the effects of various system parameters to the system reliability.
