摘要：

Cup-shaped structures crowning iron-bearing diatremes of the Angara iron ore province are described. Structural geometry and problems of ''cup'' genesis, physical-chemical conditions and hydrodynamic processes that controlled deposition of the crater-lacustrine successions filling these structures are considered with particular reference to cup ores confined to the base of such successions. The effect of cup-shaped structures upon preservation and evaluation of buried ore deposits is shown.
