PHYTOPROTECTIVE ROLE OF THE HUMATE AT THE COMPLEX INFLUENCE OF LEAD AND CADMIUM

摘要
Within the rising technogenic impact on the environment, the polyelement pollution with the hard metals can be frequently observed. Such an impact on the life forms is very inconsiderable. At the same time, it is known that the humate products can reduce the phytotoxicity of the hard metals. In accordance with this, there has been studied the impact of the humate product from peat on the wheat plants' (Triticum aestivum L.) resistance towards high lead (500 and 1000 mcM/l Pb(NO3)(2)) and cadmium (10 mcM/l CdSO4) concentrations under the conditions of greenhouse trial in solution culture. The toxicity of the metal salt mixture was found to exceed the toxicity of the separate components at 3.5-10 times. High toxicity of the complex leads and cadmium impact has been conditioned by the cadmium accumulation in the plants' scions. Within the complex impact of the hard metals, humate has reduced their toxicity at 1.4-1.5 times.
