摘要：
A simple diffractive amplitude for high-energy elastic hadron-hadron scattering is given, which includes some typical cases of diffraction. We show the similarities of the model to a realistic geometrical model which explains pp and pBARp scattering in the energy region square-root s less-than-or-equal-to 1.8 TeV well and could provide a reasonable extrapolation to higher energies.
