摘要：
Polarization dependent loss is an important parameter in the specification of optical components. Previous measurements have been limited by the polarization dependence of the measurement equipment. In this letter, we demonstrate how the use of a novel depolarizer, erbium-doped fiber, reduces measurement uncertainty.
