摘要
A simple wideband frequency-swept marginal oscillator detector utilizing integrated circuits has been constructed for ion cyclotron resonance spectrometers and covers a mass-spectral range of 16-43 with a single coil. The circuit maintains stable oscillation with amplitudes from 10 to more than 250 mVp-p in the range 50-450 kHz. The possibility of constructing a marginal oscillator having constant sensitivity independent of frequency sweep is discussed and a new circuit has been developed and tested. As an application of the circuit, an ion ejection technique utilizing excitation of cyclotron motion of ions has been carried out with ethylene, and a good mass resolution for ion ejection has been obtained. © 1979.
