摘要
A theoretical investigation of the space-time evolution of tracks created by heavy charged particles in noble gases is given, taking into account electron and ion diffusion, electron energy relaxation due to collisions, molecular ion formation and electron-ion recombination due to ternary collisions. Results of a mathematical simulation in helium are presented.
