摘要
The level of faecal coliform bacteria in a water body is commonly monitored by multiple tube fermentation experiments. In many cases, interest centres on detecting the exceedance of a standard. This paper describes an empirical Bayes approach to estimating standard exceedance probability from multiple tube fermentation experiments. An example is given.
